Hi,
I'm making a movie with MM2 that I want to copy to a CD rom.
When I play the movie from the CD rom on my own PC it all runs fine.

Playing the CD rom on another PC that is not connected to the internet won't
always work because an updated codec needs to be downloaded

How can I add the apropriate codec to the same CD rom so that it will play
the movie without searching the codec on the internet, but taking it from
the CD rom.

Thanks

John

Thanks print maker.
I'll give this a try.

I'm not sure if this can be done - just adding the codec to the CD so it all
magically played on a machine that didn't have the codec. (beyond my current
knowledge anyhow)

but I did a quick search and found this page

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/format/codecdownload.aspx

looks like you could burn a codec install package to a CD, so anyone you
gave the movie to - you could give them this too...
