adding background music from a cd to a slideshow

I'm trying to play and save a track from an audio cd over the top of my
slideshow and then copy the whole thing onto a new cd disc. How do I do this
so that when you open the slideshow the music will begin playing
automatically.

Amys,
You do not mention the version you are using. If you have PPT 2003, consider
using Package to CD.

You will have to copy/convert the CD-track to your hard disk. You need to
put the sound file in the folder where the presentation resides before
you insert it into the presentation.
