Adding another USB hub

I already have an unpowered 4-port USB hub. I'm buying a 4-port
powered hub as well, as one of my new devices needs more power. Can I
connect this new hub via the existing hub please? (I want to avoid
moving any device from one socket to another, as I always seem to get
into a mess when I do.)

You should be able to add the powered hub to one port of the
existing unpowered hub. Try it, if it doesn't work, just
reverse the two hubs.
