adding an option to Task

how can I add a "duration" (time period) selection to
tasks so that I could choose "start date" then "duration"

I greatly appreciate your help

This would need to be a calendar item to specify an end time or "duration".
If this task is repeated, your calendar item could be a reocurring
appointment that is editable for start and end times etc...
