adding an address book in windows fax and scan

How do I get my fax numbers into windows fax and scan? I don't have a
personal address book set up yet I guess. How do I set one up? I have windows
vista ultimate. I can send a fax by typing in the number each time, but I
want an address book.

It looks like you just go to Tools | Contacts... in Windows Fax and Scan
(make sure you've clicked Scan on the lower left).

Thanks. After fooling around with it for a few days, I discovered that when I
installed Microsoft Office, it had made itself the default contacts handler.
Seems I have to put numbers into Microsoft Outlook, then they will show up in
the fax program. Now, your method works, as long as I open Outlook first.
Thanks though.

Actually, WFS will simply use whatever you have set as your default Contacts
Manager for your OS. It is not necessary to have Microsoft Outlook running,
nor must you enter your fax addresses there. You can enter them via WFS.
