Adding A Second Processor....

Hi;

I'm about to install Win2kAdvSrvr on a dual processor system that only has
one processor installed. I'd like to upgrade it to a second processor in the
future and am wondering if I will have to re-load the entire O/S if I later
add a second processor. Does anyone know what the scoop is on adding a
processor to an existing Win2k install?

You won't or shouldn't need to reinstall the operating system. Usually
all that is needed is to change the uni processor hal to a
multi-processor hal in the Device Manager. As always with these kinds
of changes make sure you have a good backup and restore strategy in case
things go bad. See here:
