Running XP Home on a Toshiba laptop.

I have a utility that I installed but it didn't add itself to the Start, all
programs menu. It runs fine from Windows Explorer, double click the .EXE
file. How can I add this to the All Programs menu listing?

Thanks

Right click on the start button, and choose either Explore or Explore All
Users. You can create (or paste) a shortcut to anything you like in the
Programs menu.

Right click the program you want to add to the Start menu and
select "Send to -> Desktop (create shortcut).
Next, hit the Start button.
Right click All Programs.
If you want the program available for anyone who logs on to
your computer select "Explore all users" from the menu.
If you want the program to only be displayed on your Start menu
select Explore from the menu.
In the Explorer windows which opens, navigate to the location
within the Programs folder that you want to place your new
shortcut.
You can now drag and drop the new shortcut into the Explorer
window.

Good luck

Go to where the programs exe is located i.e. c:\program files\......., then
mouse over on it, right click, then select pin to start menu.
Another option is to go to documents and settings, select the user acct you
want (probably yours) open start menu folder, open the programs folder then
drag the program or folder and create a shortcut(not copy or move).
