Adding a license to single copy of XP standard.

I have a single copy of the FULL version of Win XP home.
I bought an additional user license for a second
computer. I already installed XP home on this second
computer but have not activated it yet. I want to type in
the new license to make it legal without having to re-
install XP home over itself. Is there a way to do this
easily? THANKS for any help anybody can give.
