adding a hard drive

Karen

Hi at present I have a dual booting computer with Win 98SE on C: and Win XP
Pro on D: with ONE hard drive partitioned into C: and D:

If I was to add a second hard drive of 120GBytes with one partition, could I
copy what is on drive D: (Windows XP Pro) to the new drive E: then delete
what is on drive D: then change drive D: to say drive H: and then change
drive E: to drive D: would it work, or am I better starting all over again?

Thanks Karen

Hi Karen,

Start over, 'twould be simpler. You can use the fastwiz to migrate your
settings from the old installation to the new one.
