adding a fixed amount to a line

I am new to excel and trying to help my husband work with a
spreadsheet for our business.
We have a line of amounts that we would like to add, say,
$10,000 to each column amount in that particular row. How
do we do that? Thanks in advance for your help!

Type the figure you wish to add in a cell. Copy the cell, select the cells
you want to change and use Paste/Special/Add.
