Adding a field to a report

We moved our application to Access 2007. I am new to developing in 2007. I
have an existing report that utilizes a query. I need to add another field
to this report. I go into the query, add the field, close and save, but it
does not appear in my field list in design form of the report.

Is there a setting I am missing so I can modify report queries?

Usually, after modifying the recordsource of a form or report, you have to
open the form/report in design view and reselect the recordsource.

Is the report based on a query?

You will need to add the field to the Query Control Source of the report if
thats the case. It depends on how you are controlling the record source of
the report.
