Want to use a computer on different level of the house. At present have
desktop upstairs and daughter wants to use her desktop for one month
downstairs. I have DSL by sbc but use aol for email and accessing the net.
Can downstairs desktop plug into phone line for internet and email use?
Wireless setup not wanted for such a short time. Since netzero and aol
dialup are no cost now, can either software be run on comp.#2 without
disrupting or interferring with present broadband use?
Thanks

Yes, the downstairs desktop can plug into the phone line and dial in
to the Internet. It will have no effect on your present broadband
use.

I don't think that AOL dial-up service is free. I don't know about
NetZero.
