adding 2 reports

I have 2 separates reports that both sums money values and
I would like them to be collated and give me a general
total. How do I do this?

Would it work to place both reports into a third report as subreports?
Otherwise reports are just display of records. There are lots of methods for
getting various recordsets into reports.
