Addin buttons not working all that well in word editor

Chet

I have a command menu with a button on each new mailitem
inspector that is created. When the inspector is a word
editor the buttons still works but the form that it
displays when pressed is not on top of that inspector but
is on top of the active explorer instead. How do i get
the form to be displayed on top of the inspector. Also
the command bar and button shows up in word. Can this be
prevented or can the button be disabled some how?

Chet,

The standard way is to make the menu "temporary" which is
an option upon creation...

I'm wondering, can you post the code snippet that creates
and sets the events when Word is the email editor.

I am developing a add-in based on the same model as yours
for new inspectors but in my case, the command button
click event does not seem to be firing when Word is the
email editor. It fires when Outlook is the default
editor.
