Added design templates, but when selected they are not working?

I just added 5 new designs in my powerpoint template designs. I see them and
when I click to "apply to selected slide" none of them are working? Any
advise what I should try next?
 
Where did the templates come from? Did you create them?

Which version of PPT are you using?
