Add Yahoo account to Outlook

Can I add a Yahoo email account to Outlook?

Yes.....POP3 is...... pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
and SMTP is....... smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk

I set it up in that way but when I try to access email I am getting a dialog
screen with a password request.Even if I enter the password it still keeps
asking for it.

Do you have an account on yahoo's UK site? If you are in the US, you need a
paid yahoo account.

yahoopop is a 3rd party addin that pulls yahoo mail into any mail
account.

Well, YahooPOPs isn't really an add-in. It runs as a local HTTP-to-POP3
converter proxy. An add-in means that it would only work for Outlook as
a solution. By running as a proxy, all POP3/SMTP e-mail clients can use
it: Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Pegasus, or whatever.

As far as "what's the difference", you PAY Yahoo for POP3 and SMTP
access or you use the FREE YahooPOPs with FREE Yahoo! Mail account(s).
