i'm tring to add task to the task sched. as i did with no problem on my good
old 98SE (now I'm on XP) with no success.

What is the diffrence ?? Is there some password issue ?? if so which
password shouls I use. I didnt use any password on my PC yet (at least I do
not remmeber)
Is there some other issue ??

I do not use a password to logon. Is there a case that there is a password
and I do not use it ?? what the idea of several accounts ???

You need a password. It is the same password as you use to logon. If you don't want a password to logon create a new account with a password and use that for scheduling. You can read the log (Advanced menu) to see what else you are doing wrong.

The error:
"Spybot - Search & Destroy - Scheduled Task.job" (SpybotSD.exe) 27/03/2006
16:15:58 ** ERROR **
The attempt to retrieve account information for the specified task failed;
therefore, the task did not run. Either an error occurred, or no account
information existed for the task.
The specific error is:
0x8004130f: No account information could be found in the Task Scheduler
security database for the task indicated."

I do not use a password to logon. Is there a case that there is a password
and I do not use it ?? what the idea of several accounts ??? will the task
run even if i'm logged on to my original account while the password that i
will use will be a dummy user (that will be given password) ??

Need to use a password.

you may disable this with the following registry change:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Lsa

limitblankpassworduse
Change the value in the Value Data box from 1 to 0

That's a really really stupid thing to do. That is the wrong answer. You don't think I know about that key, I didn't mention it because it is wrong. Go look up what it does in Local Security Policy. Then tell me that you want anyone in the world to be able to access you computer by guessing your user name (and the user Adminisatrator is easily guessed).

What is the problem with :

"you may disable this with the following registry change:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Lsa

limitblankpassworduse
Change the value in the Value Data box from 1 to 0"
