Add shortcut to drop down pick list

I have a drop down pick list that has numerous entries of Cities in a
worksheet. Is there away to add shortcuts to the drop down pick list?

Select the cell containing the validation list. Go to Data|
Validation. On the Setting tab, the Allow field should say List.
Look in the Source field. That will tell you the location of the
values that are appearing in the dropdown list. Go to that location
and add whatever you need to. You may need to extend the source to
pick up the newly entered data. Also, the Source could appear as a
named range. If so, copy the name of the range, close the dialog box,
press Ctrl+G, and paste the name into the
reference field of the dialog box. Click OK.
