Add/Remove Programs

I am running Windows XP pro on a computer I received from
another person. I am trying to clean up things in the
system that I don't want. When I go into Add/Remove
programs I find a number of programs listed with little
icons beside them but no file size indicated. When I try
to remove them the computer responds saying it cannot find
the uninstall file for that program. How do I get rid of
all this junk? Thanks. Ron
 
Thanks for the advice. Do you know of any system
problems, etc., created by downloading and running this
program?
