It should be "sfc /scannow" [one space between]

When I typed in "SFC/Scannow", an error message popped up saying can't find the file name.
When I try to run the "regsvr32 appwiz.cpl", an error message of
"Load library("regsvr32 appwiz.cpl") failed-a dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.
I typed them in exactly as above, with out parenthesis or quotations..Any other suggestions for help? thanks

If the problem is not seen while using Classic mode (occurs only in Window
XP style theme), this may be due to missing shellstyle.dll file in the Luna
folder (SFC should solve it)

A DLL initialization error ocurred when I did the regsvr32, and when I
switched the windows classic style, it wasn't there??
Looks like it is gone?

Paulette,
Change the Windows Classic style and see if it works. If not, run "SFC
/Scannow" from RUN box.
Also type "regsvr32 appwiz.cpl"

I am trying to click on the add/remove programs icon, but nothing
happens.
No error message appears, nothing. I'm logged on as an administrator
and
I've done system restore as well. It's like I can see the icon, but
just
can't use it.
Can anyone help me???
