Add Remove Program Problem

When I try to run the Add Remove Programs icon in the
control it does not run or do anything. Has something went
wrong with my registry how can I fix this any help would
be appreciated.

See if typing
regsvr32 appwiz.cpl
into the Start / run box helps.

I tried this and got the following message

DLLRegisterServer in appwiz.cpl succeeded but the Add
Remove Program still does not work.
