Add/remove on XP

I'm running XP home just tried to remove a program and
got this message WISE UNINSTALL... could not open
INSTALL.LOGFILE.
So was unable to remove the program can anyone help!
If you have had this problem please help me....many
thanks.
 
sometimes people try deleting programs manually rather than add and remove,
my advise is if you still have the program that you want to uninstall,
reinstall it first then uninstall again that should do it.
