Add/Remove Function Inoperative

The Change/Remove buttons on the Add/Remove function are
both greyed out on all programs. Unable to remove
unwanted programs from computer.

After 22 pages and four months of frustration in
attempting to resolve problem through Dell technical
support, no resolution.

Have communicated with tech suport personnel in country of
India? In Manila?

Does anyone have a suggestion?
