Hi everyone,

When I add a new printer, and select the a new port for
it. I do not see the option for printserver (I use a
linksys printserver). I also have a win2K machine and the
option for printserver port is there. In the
documentation of the linksys it mentions that the
printserver option should be there when creatin a new
port.

How come I do not see it. I only see local port and
tcp/ip port.

Is it the version of windows XP that came with my
thinkpad?

Thanks

José Rafael

The only printer port types that come with Windows 2000 or XP are the Local
Port and the Standard TCP/IP ports.

You probably need to install the LinkSys Print Server software (driver) to
create the "printserver" type port.

It's perfectly useless to know the right answer to the wrong question.
