Add picture in signature line

Outlook 2000 - I am trying to add a picture to my signature line in Outlook
and it won't let me either copy/paste a picture or insert a picture. It
keeps saving the file as a .txt file and I can't seem to save it as a .htm
file. I am thinking I need to save it as a .htm file to do this? Everytime
I choose save as and then name the file test.htm it reverts it back to
test.txt when I open it again. I can't add a picture since it reopens the
file in notepad each time.

From what program are you trying to save the .htm file - Notepad? If
so, you need to specify 'Save as type' = 'All Files'. But I think you
would better create a HTML signature with a HTML editor.

See if something here helps:
