Add media to media pool?

Recently upgraded to XP Pro... trying to figure out how to configure XP's
Removable Storage to use with my 8GB Travan tape drive. OK, I figured out how
to create and modify media pools -- but how the heck do I add media to the
pools? I've got a stack of tapes already. How do I tell XP that it can use
them?

Insert a tape.
Open up Removable Storage.
Expand Libraries.
Click on your tape drive.
In the right pane you should see a tape.
Right click on it and select Free.
When you do a backup it will be drawn from the free media pool

Ok
Try uninstalling the tape drive in device manager then delete the drive in
removable storage. Restart you PC and let windows detect the drive.
See if you get the tape this time.
