Add in problems

I have two add ins installed in Word. Buttons are displayed in the standard
tool bar. One add in installed itself in its own button and also in another
button with the same name as the 2nd add in, so now I have three button for
the two add ins. I tried uninstalling the add in that was the offender and
the offending button disappears but the 2nd button stays there but gives the
macro security box when clicked. I tried to edit the toolbar.dot and when I
opened it, it was blank. Same thing with the normal.dot. Any suggestions?

I solved this issue. Just open tools, click customize and drag the offender
out of the menu bar. That's all there is to it!

If the add-in is in Word's Startup folder, it will load every time you start
Word. And if it contains macros that add buttons, they'll add them every
time it loads.
