Add data but disallow the deletion of the original data

Hi,

Is there are a way to let users add on data to a spreadsheet but
disallow them to modify/delete the original data?

lock the cells to be protected>unlock the cells allowing changes>protect

You can lock the cells that hold the existing data and unlock cells that you
want users to add to.

By default all cells are locked under Format>Cells>Protection.

Select the cells you wish to unlock then take the checkmark out of "locked".

Now go to Tools>Protection>Protect Sheet.
