add custom file properties

I was wondering if there is a way to add a custom file property as a folder
detail. For example, I created a custom property called "Reviewed By" with
the text "BRP" (my initials). I would like to view the "Reviewed By"
property value for each file in the folder view. I tried going into the
Choose Details option in the folder but my custom created property was not an
option. Is there any way to do this? I would really like to be able to
quickly see which files have been reviewed and by whom, and I thought this
would be an easy way to do it. If this is not possible, are there any other
recommendations for getting what I'm after?

Rightclick the desktop, and create a new shortcut. Look at the Properties,
and you will see a "Comments" input box.

Set the Details view to show the comments.
