Add BCC to Outlook Meeting Requests

I run an association and regularly schedule meetings. The members have asked
that I not display member's e-mail addresses because they are competitors. I
need to send BCC Outlook meeting requests. There is no way to do this. I can
create mail merges or attach a calendar to an outlook, but this is not
effective as it is not the same thing. If I create a distribution list,
anyone can get the list to display the e-mail addresses. None of these
work-arounds allow the BCC functionality as a previous version of Outlook
did. I need to populate their outlook when they accept the meeting and see
everyone who did and did not accept the invitation. Now I have to send 80
separate meeting request which is time consuming. I tried downloading a third
party application, but it did not work.

This suggestion from Jay does not work. Please stop posting it to replies.
For Outlook 2007, when you list the person as a resource, their e-mail
appears in the TO field and everyone can see their e-mail address. If you
list them as optional, everyone can see their name and contact info. I need
to BCC all contacts so no one but the meeting organizer can see the contact
info. Also the iCal work-around does not meet my needs. Thanks for trying.

It works just fine for me. You will see the names but the recipients will
not. (Assuming you remove the names from the location field).

The reason it seems to work for some and not others is because the LOCATION
needs to be filled in. If there is no location mentioned, all the email
addresses automatically go there, and in turn, show up on the invitation.
Put in a location, and when you send the invite, you will be asked to "update
location" with the location you typed in with the addition of all the email
addresses. Say "no" to that, and you'll be fine. Test it out to verify your
situation, but that's what I've found to work perfectly.

Correct, you need to remove the names from the location and put a location
in the field.
