add attachments to pdf?????

I am trying to add an attachment to a pdf file, and when I follow the
directions in adobe I do not have the buttons on my toolbar they tell me to
select. Can you only do such a thing with the paid adobe? I only have the
free 7.0 version. Is there a way to do this, please?

The version you have is adobe reader. You cannot add to the PDF you would
need to purchase adobe acrobat writer to do that.
