Add an option to display email address in message lists...

I'd like an option to include the email address (rather than just the display
name specified by the sender) in the "From" column in my inbox.

Search this forum and you'll see a few other people have requested the same.

In a large company where I don't necessarily recognize a sender's name (for
example if someone in HR sends a memo to the entire company), if I could at
least see the domain name from the email address I'd have a better idea
whether the message was spam or not...

So basically you want this feature so you can manually filter spam? I would
call that a step back.

create a rule to flag messages from your domain or a custom view to
highlight them.

BTW - if you use Exchange server, the address is really ugly. :)
