AD users&computers

What I heard to manage AD 2003 from a client best is the client is Win XP
with the adminpak for W3K installed. Then they can run AD users&computers.
Is it possible to have W2K prof to run AD users&computers against AD 2003
without installing the whole adminpak (for W2K, W3K is not possible to
install)?

Hi Fredrik-

Yes you need to copy dsadmin.dll to your system32 dir then run "Regsvr32
dsadmin.dll". Open an MMC and add the ADUC snap-in.

Thanks. If I in my Win XP create a mmc view for a ou in AD and save to a
mmc-file. Can I then in a W2K prof (with MMC 1.2?) open this mmc-file with
your sugestion? I want a person with W2K prof to be enable to administrate
their own ou but I don't want to install the adminpak in his PC. Should I
take the dsadmin.dll from W3K adminpak or?
