AD Users and computers MMC - cannot connect to other domain controller

Hi

We have a number of domain controllers in one domain. Recently I have been
unable to connect to domain contollers in different sites? The AD is still
replicating fine and there are no errors on dcdiag or replication monitor.
Admin guys can connect to the DC's in their site but not to others in other
sites.

I cannot figure out whats going on! One of the errors I get is an RPC
failure. All sites are connected over a WAN (VPN).

While this may or may not be of much help to you, RPC errors are generally
DNS-related or network-related errors!

Not very helpful....but it's a start. we have fully open VPN's between all
sites and all traffic can flow freely. logon to any other system is no
problem. it is only accessing Domain Controllers via the AD users and
computers MMC that is a problem. We can RDP to them no problem.
