AD trusts

Two DC's separate tree both AD installed. Server A 192.168.1.1 Server B
192.168.1.1 same subnet same lan. Both have Dns installed Server A domain =
Dave.co.uk, Server B = Chris.com.
How do I set up a one way trust where Server b is the trusting domain. I
have tried but it tells me that the domain does not exist on bothe servers.
I think it must be DNS but think this is set up correct with a zone for each
server.
Can anybody help?

sounds like a dns issue, if you delete the dns zone and recreate it AD
should repopulate it. see if you are missing the _msdcs, _sites, _tcp, _udp
folders and such first...

Yes those folders are not there. Whn I installed AD on Server A (Dave.co.uk)
it automatically crated a forward lookup zone for that domain with these
folsers in. But when I created a zone for Server B (Chris.com) it did not
create the directories. Same happened on server B. Does this make any sense
to anybody?
