AD Replication though VPN

Hi there,

Did anyone have any reference on this topic?

I got 2 side and will expanding soon to more sites. Each
site will have at least 1 DC. Each DC with 2 NICs - 1 for
LAN and 1 for Internet Access.

I plannig on the HQ site setup the DC as RRAS Server and
allow other sites DC to dial-up and replicate the AD
information with scheduled time say at night time!

I try to testing PCs to simulate the real environment and
I found out that when the client dial into the RRAS
server, all traffic will go through the RRAS server but
the problems is my DC also Proxy server to allow other
clients in the network to access Internet so I need to
schedule the DCs on other branch to dial to the HQ DC at
night automatically and replicated the AD then disconnect
after - let say 1 hours or less.

It is possible? Or anyone got any suggestions?

Helllo Chai

There is no problem that the server atc proxy server and RRAS server, use
Demand Dail interfaces to route togheter all your sites, and let VPN users
dail in as normal users, it should be finne to share internet access from
the server.
