Active directory setup

If i want to setup an active directory with internet access to clients via a firewall ,what is the typical setup.

At present i have an win2k3 AD server(DC1) and the tcp/ip settings are
****************************
ip 192.168.0.88
sm 255.255.255.0
gw 192.168.0.1----- ip of the linux firewall(Local lan) which is nated

dns1 192.168.0.8
dns2- public dns of the isp

The DC1 is the local dns server .

I have also configured an Additional DC(DC2).
************************************************
ip 192.168.0.89
sm 255.255.255.0
gw 192.168.0.1----- ip of the linux firewall(Local lan) which is nated

dns1 192.168.0.8
dns2- public dns of the isp

client
**************************
ip 192.168.0.90
sm 255.255.255.0
gw 192.168.0.1----- ip of the linux firewall(Local lan) which is nated

dns1 192.168.0.8
dns2- public dns of the isp

I can access internet only when the deault gateway is 192.168.0.1.If i remove the default gateway and put the gateway as 192.168.0.88 internet doesn't work

Another problem ,if the default gateway is 192.168.0.1 ,I can't replicate the 2 DCs.if it's changed to 192.168.0.88 it replicates.

******************
What is the general pratical setup in industries.Kindly help
