Hi I just wanted to get some clarification:

If I set up Active Directory on a PDC with 20 computer accounts and 30 user
accounts, do I need to have a CAL for each user, computer or both?

Mark,

In this case, you'd want to go with Per Device licensing (in 2003). So, buy
your 20 licenses (maybe 25 for growth), and disable the License Logging
service. Then you're good.

If you have concerns about turning this off, take a look at the posts here
over the last two weeks. There has been some good information -- bottom
line, disable it.
