AD HOC Networks

Hi,

I have a MAC G4 powerbook running OS X. I also have a Laptop running XP. I
have the internet connection on my XP machine, and want to connect to it from
my MAC.

I have set up the AD HOC Network, now.....

What IP addresses do I have to assign to both the computers???

Also when sharing the Internet connection, do I select the " Allow other
users to connect to this computers internet connection" under the Internet
connection, or the wireless network window.

Also when sharing the Internet connection, do I select the " Allow other

On the XP machine, enable Internet Connection Sharing on the Internet
connection (right-click | Properties | Advanced). If it asks what
connection to use for the home network, tell it to use the wireless
connection. Don't assign any IP properties manually. ICS will do it.

On the MAC, configure it to obtain an IP address automatically. The
XP machine will provide the assignment.
