Ad-aware update query

I have been using v6.0 Personal for over six months and every time I
try to update the program I get the message:" No updated componets
available". Am I doing something wrong? Are udates not available for
the Personal version? Or have there been no updates issued.

The freeware version of AdAware is still being updated. Make sure that you
have the current version of AdAware: version 6.181. The previous version is
no longer being updated. The current Reference File is 01R247, dated
10/01/2004.

Try their original download site:

http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/

It works with all my versions ... simply replace
the ref. files (you can unzip them directly to
your Lavasoft folder).

I also had problems with the first edition of 6,0 to download updates.
I removed it & installed a newer version (months ago) and all goes
well.

I downloaded and installed the latest version dated 10.01.2004 and was
able to immediately update it. Someone mentioned a version 6.181, I
have not been able to determine exactly what version I have, it still
says 6.0 on the opening screen. All is well and thanks for the
suggestions.
