With a 'paid for' version of Ad-Aware, you get Ad-Watch.
Ad-Watch normally blocks updates to registry settings and
reverses all attempts to set the default page to
www.msn.com (which comes 'for free' when you install
Windows Messenger...)
I made a terrible mistake by allowing it to do this (when
Ad-Watch was 'off'.
Now I cannot reverse this, all attempts to set the
default page back to 'blank' are thwarted.
