Actual Drive Letter of Network Drive

S

Steven J Reed

I am attempting to find the Drive Letter (and directory
info) from the drive as it is on the computer that owns
the drive.

In other words, My K drive is mapped to a network share
called GIS. On the Network computer, this is F:\GIS. How
can I find this relationship.

I've been looking through WMI and would think that there
was something there, but so far I haven't found it. I'm
attempting to attach a database that is on the server, but
without the local address I can't do it.

Thanks for you help!

Use Interop with the NetShareGetInfo function and the info level of 2 or
502.
