Activsync intall

I am trying to install Microsoft Activ sync 3.7 - when I
click on the setup.exe file it opens a file copying
window then nothing - no set up instructions, nothing.

If I try and install on another pc its fine.

Any ideas???

Matlough,

Go to Start, Run and insert taskmgr, click OK. Look in Processes and make
sure that wcescomm.exe and wcesmgr.exe are NOT running. End these processes
if necessary.

Go to Control Panel and uninstall any instances of MS ActiveSync.

Try again to install ActiveSync 3.7.

If it fails again, go through the steps above, reboot in Safe Mode and try
the install from Safe Mode.
