My registry shows a LARGE amount of "ActiveX/com
sections" & ActiveX/com subkeys" that look like they may
be abandoned & not active. To free up disk space, how
can I tell which they are & how would I know which ones
could be safely deleted.??
Thanks

Did you look in the folder that holds the ActiveX Controls? You can see
when the "last accessed date" was, and then delete the old ones.

You see this folder by Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options ->
General Tab -> Settings -> View Objects

Does that help at all? I only have about six entries in this folder.
