Hi

When I open a website, there will be this error
"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX
controls on this page. As a result, this page may not
display properly.
I tried to change the ActiveX controls in IE>Tools>Internet Options>Security
but it is still the same
I'm running Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 (BETA VERSION)
I tried to disable the firewalls too, but it is still the same

TIA
Firqin

I had exactly the same issu

None of the steps below seemed to wor

1) Disabled all firewallin
2) Change the whole internet zone to lowest security
3) IIS runinning on the same machine, with a balnk page still showed the same issu

I did not check this at the time, but after uninstalling SP2 I noticed that my IP addresses had changed, one that was set to DHCP had the IP address from my other card and vice versa. I DEFINATELY never changed them

DO you have a solution yet

How do your IP addresses look
DOes DNS work ( try nslookup) then www.bbc.co.u
Does tracert work?? ie do you actualy attemp to route to the correct webserver

If anybody from Microsoft reads this where Do i feed back bugs to
