ActiveSync Question

(This is probably the wrong group to ask, but I can't find a better
one. If you know of a better NG to ask, please let me know.)
I have a Win CE 3.0 device talking to Win XP via ActiveSync 3.7.1.
When is it done synchronizing and I've read all unread messages, Win
CE insists that there is still one unread message. Outlook on XP says
that there are no unread messages. Browsing all the message folders on
CE does not find any unread messages. Any idea why CE insists that
there is an unread message? I've restarted CE, reinstalled ActiveSync
and resynchronized many times without the unread message going away.
I've searched the KB without finding anything relevant. Please, any
ideas would be appreciated.
