Active X?

When I try to logon to .Net I get the DNS page in IE. When I try to go to the
Trend Micro free online scan I get the message " Your securtiy settings do
not allow web sites to load active X controls... I have set IE security
setting to low and enabled all settings that pertain to active X.

..net I don't know about.
For security reasons you do want active X disabled. On Trend Micro
online scan click the yellow bar running accross the top of the page.
_install activeX_

The yellow bar say's my security settings won't allow active X.
