Active Scripting Internet Explorer 6

Alex

I have been having Internet Explorer problems with slow scrolling and
delayed typing into text boxes on certain web pages such as www.cnn.com and
www.aa.com . The CPU also goes to 100%. When I disable Active Scripting the
problems go away. I have re-installed IE 6 with out success. Is there a fix
for this or perhaps I can download / replace the software that relates to
Active Scripting?
thanks

It may be this parasite.

TinyBar

Problems: The installation exploit itself may also cause IE to crash in some
versions. TinyBar/atk also eats a large amount of bandwidth, which may make
modem connections so slow as to be unusable.
