In Outlook 2002, I have tried to create an Active
Directory which pulls a directory of names/email addresses
from our Exchange Server. I set it up with 3268 as the
port number, NULL as the username and NULL as the search
base. When I try to access the address directory through
Active Directory, it gives me an error - "Cannot contact
LDAP Directory Server (81)". We use the Active Directory
with Outlook 2000 with these settings and it works fine.
Any ideas why this does not work?
 
UserName mast be valid for you server (not NULL). Server name - IP or
NetBIOSName or DNS Name. Search base forexample -
"dc=asia,dc=microsoft,dc=com"
