Active Directory.

I have a home network and have built a windows 2000 server. When I attempt to
set up active directory it produces and error "Certificate Services are
installed on this computer. You must remove this server before installing or
removing Active Directory" I need to remove this but cannot find any
reference on how to remove this service anywhere.

Please could someone help.

Try using the dcpromo command from Run to uninstall it.

DcPromO? no Way! Go to add and remove programs then Add/Remove Windows
componets and uncheck the Cert Server. Reboot and then Dcpromo should work.
